Intended use:
The test detects DNA from the eae gene of Escherichia coli (Intimin encoding gene)
Each reaction contains an internal amplification control (PLUS). The real-time PCR assay can be used with established real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of two fluorescence emissions at 510 nm and 580 nm (FAM and VIC/HEX) at the same time. The technical validation of instruments was performed on Agilent Mx3005P, BioRad CFX 96, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Roche LightCycler® 2.02, Applied Biosystems 7500 and Qiagen RotorGene Q.

| Sample Preparation | For DNA-preparation the use of SureFast® PREP Bacteria is recommended. To assess the process of bacterial growth, it is recommended to compare the samples at the beginning and at the end of the culturing (bacterial growth at Cp difference >3). |
