Intended use:
The test detects stx1 and stx2 DNA from shigatoxine-producing E. coli. Each reaction contains an internal
amplification control (PLUS). The real-time PCR assay can be used with established real-time PCR
instruments, equipped for detection of two fluorescence emissions in the FAM and VIC/HEX channel at the
same time. The method is according to German Food Law §64 LFGB BVL L 07.18.1.
For users of the Roche LightCyler® 1.5 and 2.0 a color compensation is necessary. The use of the SureCC Color Compensation Kit II
is recommended.
