The SureFast® Animal+Plant Control 3plex real time PCR controls the DNA-preparation. In addition a differentiation between the DNA of vertebrates and plants is possible. The test contains an Internal Control DNA (ICD) as an internal control of sample preparation procedure and to determine possible PCR-inhibition.
The kit is intended to be used for isolation of animal and plant DNA from food and feed as well as bacterial DNA from bacterial culture enrichments with the TANBead® Maelstrom 8 Autostage or Maelstrom 4800.
