UV-method for the determination of Sulfite (“total SO2“) in foodstuff and other materials.
General Information:
As an alternative to the “Yellow line” enzymatic kits produced by Roche Diagnostics, R-Biopharm also offers the Enzytec™ Generic line, which includes enzymatic or colorimetric assays. The Enzytec™ Generic line includes 14 different enzymatic kits, which can detect acids, sugars and other food constituents.

| LOQ (Limit of quantification) | The detection limit is calculated via the Lambert-Beer law and depends on the application used. For example, if sample volume v = 0.500 ml and Delta A = 0.050 (A), then detection limit = 3 mg/l. This limit can be improved proportionally by increasing the sample volume up to 2 ml. |
