Intended use:
RIDA®QUICK Aflatoxin RQS ECO is a quantitative immunochromatographic test in a test strip format to determine aflatoxin (sum B1, B2, G1, G2) in corn. The test uses an aqueous extraction method. Results are evaluated with the RIDA®SMART APP software (Art. No. ZRSAM1000) or the RIDA®QUICK SCAN reader.
General Information:
Aflatoxins are secondary metabolic products of the fungi species Aspergillus flavus, parasiticus and nomius. These types of fungi most frequently occur in humid, tropical regions. Agricultural products become contaminated in the cultivating countries. Aflatoxins are among the strongest, naturally occurring carcinogenic substances.
