The real-time PCR test detects DNA of apricot (Prunus armenica). Each reaction contains an internal amplification control (IAC).
For DNA-preparation of raw material the use of SureFood® PREP Basic (S1052) and for highly processed food and feed the use of SureFood® PREP Advanced (S1053) is recommended.
The real-time PCR assay can be used with commonly used real-time PCR instruments, equipped for the detection of two fluorescence emissions at 510 nm and 580 nm at the same time. Internal validation was performed Agilent Mx3005P, Agilent Aria Dx, Applied Biosystems 7500, BioRad CFX96, R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Roche cobas z 480 Analyzer, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q and LTF MyGo Pro.
