SureFood® GMO ID 4plex Canola I

0,01

The multiplex SureFood® GMO ID 4plex Canola Itest detects the following DNA sequences of genetically modified canola.

Description

Intended use:

The multiplex SureFood® GMO ID 4plex Canola I test detects the following DNA sequences of genetically modified canola:

  • FAM channel: MS8 canola (OECD unique identifier ACS-BNØØ5-8)
  • ROX channel: GT73 canola (OECD unique identifier MON-ØØØ73-7)
  • Cy5 channel: T45 canola (OECD unique identifier ACS-BNØØ8-2)

The event specific detection is according to the official method of the European Commission. Each reaction contains an internal amplification control.

For DNA preparation of raw material the use of SureFood® PREP Basic and for highly processed food and feed the use of SureFood® PREP Advanced is recommended.

General Information:

The real-time PCR assay can be used with established real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of four fluorescence emissions at 510 nm, 580 nm, 610 nm und 660 nm (FAM, VIC, ROX and Cy5) at the same time. The technical validation of instruments was performed on Roche LightCycler®480 II*, Roche cobas z 480 Analyzer*, Applied Biosystems 7500, Bio-Rad CFX96 Agilent Mx3005P.

*note: A Color Compensation is necessary for users of the Roche LightCycler® 480 II and the Roche cobas z 480 Analyzer. For the Color Compensation of such devices the SureCC Color Compensation Kit I (Art. No. F4009) must to be used.
