SureFood® QUANTARD Allergen 40 is a laboratory reference material developed for quantification in the range of 1 – 400 mg allergenic substance / kg food.
The laboratory reference material SureFood® QUANTARD Allergen 40 is based on corn flour material. It contains all potentially allergenic food ingredients according to regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 (except for molluscs, lactose and sulphur dioxide) in a concentration of 40 mg/kg.
The content of SureFood® QUANTARD Allergen 40, mixed in corn flour, is:
- Wheat flour type 405
- Black tiger shrimps
- Egg powder (hen)
- Milk powder
- Hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts, pecan nuts, brazil nuts, pistachio, macadamia nuts
- Celery seeds
- Mustard seeds, yellow
- Sesame seeds
- Lupin seeds
The laboratory reference material SureFood® QUANTARD Allergen 40 is validated in combination with the
DNA extraction method SureFood® PREP Advanced, protocol 1, and the SureFood® ALLERGEN QUANT realtime
PCR detection methods.
