Intended use:
A competitive enzyme immunoassay for screening and quantitative analysis of diethylstilbestrol (DES) in various matrices.
General Information:
Diethylstilbestrol (DES) is banned in the European Union for use as growth promoter in livestock. Recommended concentration for screening tests have been set: 2 µg/kg (ppb) for liver and 1 µg/kg for urine and tissue.
Benefit:
- Low detection limit of 0.18 µg/kg for tissue and 0.16 µg/l for urine.
