Intended use:
This competitive enzyme immunoassay is used for the quantitative determination of zeranol in urine, tissue and liver.
General Information:
The use of zeranol for growth promotion in food producing animals has been banned within the European Union. Recommended concentrations have been set, to which screening tests should measure up to 1 µg/kg (ppb) for muscle, 2 µg/kg for liver and urine.
