Intended use:
RIDASCREEN®FAST T-2 Toxin is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of T-2 toxin in cereals and feed.
General Information:
T-2 toxin belongs to the trichothecene group of mycotoxins and is produced by fungi of the genus Fusarium. T-2 toxin is often found in agricultural commodities, although the incidence and the concentrations found show a broad regional variation. Due to its cytotoxic and immunosuppressive activity, T-2 toxin is a threat for human and animal health.

Comment:
The test was validated with the matrices corn, corn seedlings and mixed feed for chicken breeding and for fattened pigs.
