Description
Intended use:
This competitive enzyme immunoassay is used for the quantitative determination of triamcinolone in urine.
General Information:
Triamcinolone acetonide is a synthetic corticosteroid and used as drug because of its anti- inflammation activities. In meat production corticosteroids such as triamcinolone have been misused for fattening purposes. It was found that these compounds have growth promoting properties to improve commercial quality of meat. The Triamcinolone acetonide ELISA is a competitive enzyme immunoassay based on antibodies directed against triamcinolone acetonide.
