SureFood® ANIMAL ID Cat & Dog IAAC
Intended use:
The test detects cat (Felis catus) DNA and dog (Canis lupus familiaris) DNA seperately. Each reaction contains an internal amplification control and an internal detection assay for animal DNA (IAAC).
For DNA-preparation of raw material the use of SureFood® PREP Basic and for highly processed food and feed the use of SureFood® PREP Advanced is recommended.
General information:
The real-time PCR assay can be used with established realtime PCR instruments, equipped for detection of two fluorescence emissions at 522 nm and 553 nm at the same time. The technicalvalidation of instruments was performed on Roche LightCycler® 2.0*, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, Applied Biossystems 7500, Bio-Rad CFX96 and Agilent Mx3005P.
*note: A Color Compensation is necessary for users of the Roche LightCyclerR 2.0. The SureCC Color Compensation kit II (Art. No. F4010) must be used for the color compensation of such devices.
