DNA Preparation
SureFood® PREP Allergen Advanced
Intended use:
Kit for preparation of DNA from highly processed food and feed.
This kit is intended to be used for the extraction of animal and plant DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). It can be used with two different protocols.
The DNA extraction protocol 1 is designed for the sensitive extraction of animal and plant DNA from food according to regulation (EU) 1169/2011. (Flowchart overview protocol 1).
The DNA extraction protocol 2 is designed for the extraction of plant DNA from highly processed food and feed. (Flowchart overview protocol 2). Furthermore, it can be used for samples that produce PCR inhibiting DNA extracts when extracted with protocol 1. Potentially occurring PCR inhibiting substances are efficiently removed in additional binding and purification steps.

Laboratory Reference Material For Quantification
SureFood®QUANTARD Allergen 40
Intended use:
SureFood® QUANTARD Allergen 40 is a laboratory reference material developed for quantification in the range of 1 – 400 mg allergenic substance / kg food.
General Information:
The laboratory reference material SureFood® QUANTARD Allergen 40 is based on corn flour material. It contains all potentially allergenic food ingredients according to regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 (except for molluscs, lactose and sulphur dioxide) in a concentration of 40 mg/kg.
The content of Quantard 40, mixed in corn flour is:
- Wheat flour type 405
- Black tiger shrimps
- Egg powder (hen)
- Salmon
- Peanuts
- Soybeans
- Milk powder
- Hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts, pecan nuts, brazil nuts, pistachio, macadamia nuts
- Celery seeds (Apium graveolens var. secallinum)
- Mustard seeds, yellow
- Sesame seeds
- Lupin seeds (Lupinus hartweggi)

Bioavid Swabbing Kit (Wood)
Intended use:
Sampling tool
The Swabbing Kit is used for the sampling of allergen residues in environmental surfaces (e.g. in food production lines) for bioavid allergen rapid tests (Art.No. BL600-25 – BL616-25). This Swabbing Kit contains cotton swabs with wooden handle.
General Information:
Food allergens (e.g. Milk, Peanut, Almond, Mustard) possibly elicits hypersensitivity in sensitive persons. Food production lines have to be free of residues to prevent these allergic reactions. The effectiveness of cleaning can be verified by using the Lateral Flow Swabbing method.

Bioavid Swabbing Kit (Plastic)
Intended use:
Sampling tool
The Swabbing Kit is used for the sampling of allergen residues in environmental surfaces (e.g. in food production lines) for bioavid allergen rapid tests (Art.No. BL600-25 – BL616-25). This Swabbing Kit contains cotton swabs with plastic handle, two swabs single packaged in a sterile bag.
General Information:
Food allergens (e.g. Milk, Peanut, Almond, Mustard) possibly elicits hypersensitivity in sensitive persons. Food production lines have to be free of residues to prevent these allergic reactions. The effectiveness of cleaning can be verified by using the Lateral Flow Swabbing method.

Bioavid Absorbent Buffer
Intended use:
The Adsorption Buffer Kit is particularly suitable for the preparation of polyphenol containing and highly colored samples (coffee, cocoa, red wine), as well as samples with a high or low pH. This buffer is for use with the bioavid lateral flow tests (Art.No. BL600-25 to BL616-25).
General Information:
Food Allergens (e.g. milk, peanut, almond, mustard) can elicit allergic reactions in sensitive persons. Food production lines should be free of allergen residues to prevent these allergic reactions. The effectivity of the cleaning process can be determined by the usage of Bioavid Lateral Flow Swabbing Kits and stripes.
